  • Feb 2022·acquired by Apollo Global Management — Worldline divested its TSS (Terminals, Solutions & Services, the former Ingenico) business unit to Apollo
  • Oct 2020·sold Visma — Visma bought Paybyway Oy, the Lappeenranta online payment facilitator behind the Bambora Payform service, from Bambora AB, which Ingenico Group had owned since 2017. Visma Pay's own company history (https://www.vismapay.fi/yritys) records the sale: "Visma ostaa yrityksen Bambora AB:lta ja verkkomaksupalvelun nimeksi annetaan Visma Pay". Payform was renamed Visma Pay, and the company took the name Visma Payments Oy in 2021.
  • Feb 2020·acquired by Worldline — terminals + acquiring combination
  • May 2018·acquired Payone — Ingenico announced negotiations in May 2018 and signed in July 2018 to merge BS PAYONE with Ingenico Payment Services GmbH in a non-cash deal giving Ingenico control of 52%; it closed in January 2019. The joint venture had about 330,000 acceptance points and €125bn annual volume.
  • Jan 2018·acquired Paymark — Ingenico bought 100% of New Zealand's national card-switching network from its four bank owners, ANZ New Zealand, ASB, BNZ and Westpac, with revised long-term services agreements with each taking effect at completion
  • Jul 2017·acquired Bambora — Ingenico bought the Nordic online and small-business acquirer Bambora from Nordic Capital for €1.5B, targeting €30M of run-rate synergies over three years. It was the terminal maker's biggest step into payment services.
  • Jul 2014·acquired GlobalCollect — Ingenico entered exclusive negotiations in July 2014 to buy 100% of the Dutch online PSP GlobalCollect for an enterprise value of €820M and closed on 30 September 2014. The deal gave Ingenico cross-border eCommerce acquiring connections alongside its terminal business.
