Storonsky confirms Revolut is planning a dual Nasdaq and London listing

United KingdomEU

What happened

In an interview with Les Echos given during a visit to Paris, Revolut founder and chief executive Nik Storonsky said the company is planning a dual listing on the London Stock Exchange and Nasdaq, ending the open question of whether it would list in London at all. Storonsky argued the US market offers deeper liquidity and a wider base of institutional buyers, hedge funds and retail investors than London alone.

The group was valued at USD 115bn in a secondary share sale in July, up from USD 75bn in November 2025, and Storonsky has previously said no listing would happen before 2028. Revolut reports around 80 million customers across some 30 countries.

Why it matters

Revolut is not only a consumer bank in this corpus, it is an acceptance-side competitor: it holds acquiring and merchant-payments ambitions across the European markets the graph tracks, and a listing sets the capital and the disclosure regime it will compete under. A dual structure that keeps a London line matters for the European side of that: it ties the group to UK reporting and UK regulatory scrutiny at the same time as it reaches US capital, and it prices the equity a European-headquartered acquirer can raise against the US-listed incumbents.

The valuation gap between the USD 115bn secondary mark and a flotation still at least two years out is the number to hold onto, not the venue.

What to watch

Whether Revolut's merchant acquiring business is broken out as a reporting segment in pre-listing disclosure, whether the 2028 earliest date survives the next funding round, and whether a confirmed London line changes how the UK treats its banking licence and its payments permissions.
