Ecommpay adds Klarna's full instalment and pay-later range in a single integration

United Kingdom

What happened

UK-based payment service provider Ecommpay added Klarna's flexible payment options to its platform on 13 October 2026, covering Pay in Full, Pay in 3, Pay in 4, Pay in 30 days and longer-term Financing. Merchants reach the whole range through a single integration with no additional technical development or third-party systems, from small businesses to global enterprises, across retail, travel and hospitality, fintech, mobility, digital goods and insurance.

The arrangement gives Klarna access to Ecommpay's merchant base worldwide. No country list, volumes or conversion figures were published. Roman Tazetdinov, Ecommpay's Head of Strategic Partnerships, said many shoppers actively look for Klarna at checkout.

Why it matters

Klarna's European reach is now built far more through gateway and PSP distribution than through retailer-by-retailer integration, and this is the distribution half of the same week in which it went live at Marks & Spencer and The White Company directly. The detail that matters is the full range in one integration, including the longer-term financing tier that usually requires separate onboarding: a merchant who adds instalments at all can now add every variant without a second project, which lowers the cost of putting a non-card method in front of a shopper.

Travel and hospitality in the covered sectors is the notable inclusion, because those are high-ticket verticals where instalments compete directly with commercial card acceptance.

What to watch

Which markets Ecommpay actually enables the range in, whether the longer-term Financing tier sees real merchant take-up through PSP distribution, and whether rival gateways answer with equivalent one-integration deals for instalment providers.
