What it does

Runs a smartphone cash network that turns shop tills into cash points: users withdraw, deposit and send cash by barcode at partner shops instead of at an ATM, with the site claiming more than 10,000 partner shops in Switzerland and Italy. The Swiss parent Sonect AG sits in Zurich; the European e-money licence sits in a separate Lithuanian subsidiary, UAB SONECT Europe of Vilnius, described on the same imprint as "Licensed as an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) by the Bank of Lithuania (License No. 39)". Not a provider row: it is a cash access network, not a merchant acquirer.
