Worldline returns to organic revenue growth in Q3 2026 with Merchant Services up 4.0 percent
EU
What happened
Worldline reported Q3 2026 external revenue of EUR 946m on a fully pruned basis, up 2.5 percent organically year on year, and group revenue on a published basis of EUR 967m, up 2.0 percent. Merchant Services grew 4.0 percent organically and its net-net revenue was flat for the first time since Q2 2024, while Financial Services fell 3.3 percent organically to EUR 186m.
The company confirmed its 2026 outlook and reported net promoter score up 10 points to 40, year-to-date bookings up 91 percent in Financial Services and 20 percent in Global Commerce, the Ogone SMB to GoPay migration 98 percent complete, and Western European headcount down about 4 percent year to date.
Why it matters
Worldline is the largest listed European acquirer and its merchant book has been contracting through the restructuring, so a quarter of organic growth with flat net-net revenue in Merchant Services is the first hard evidence that the estate has stopped shrinking. Whether it stabilises decides if European acquiring keeps consolidating around Nexi and the US processors or Worldline defends its share of the continent's in-store and online volume.
What to watch
Whether Merchant Services net-net revenue turns positive in Q4 and whether the confirmed 2026 outlook holds at the full-year results.
