Partnership
Silverflow and Hypergate target acquirers with integrated payments platform
EU
What happened
Silverflow and the gateway provider Hypergate launched a combined offering for acquirers and payment providers: Silverflow's single-API card-network processing, which it says lifts first-payment approval rates by up to 8 percent through network tokenisation, plus Hypergate's gateway, with two-way synchronisation of merchant configurations so MIDs, terminals, processing limits and webhooks can be set up in one place.
Why it matters
The slow part of launching an acquiring programme is not the card connection but reconciling merchant and terminal configuration across a gateway and a processor by hand. Packaging both sides with automatic synchronisation is aimed at the mid-sized European acquirers and banks that cannot fund a platform rebuild, and it is the second Silverflow distribution deal in nine days after the Griner expansion.
What to watch
Which acquirers sign, whether the claimed 8 percent approval uplift is confirmed by a named customer, and whether incumbent processors bundle a gateway in response.
