Gr4vy adds Unlimit as an acquiring and local-method provider, bringing MB WAY and SEPA Instant to its merchants
PortugalEU
What happened
Payment orchestration platform Gr4vy added Unlimit as a card acquiring and local payment method provider, so merchants already on Gr4vy can switch on Unlimit's methods inside their existing integration instead of building a separate connection per market. In Europe the addition covers MB WAY and SEPA Instant; the wider set spans Pix, Mercado Pago, PicPay, OXXO and Efectivo in Latin America, M-Pesa and Airtel Money in Africa, and WeChat Pay, GrabPay and UPI in Asia-Pacific. No commercial terms or volumes were disclosed.
Why it matters
The European half of this is narrow, two methods against a long non-European list, but it is another instance of the pattern worth tracking: orchestration layers are becoming the place a merchant buys acquiring and local methods, which puts a routing vendor between the acquirer and the merchant relationship. Gr4vy struck a comparable deal with Ecommpay earlier in 2026, so the provider panel rather than the merchant base is what is growing.
What to watch
Whether Gr4vy's European method coverage grows beyond MB WAY and SEPA Instant, and whether any European acquirer on the panel reports volume arriving through it.
