Ciontek (Shenzhen Android OEM) scales European entry via Viva.com VivaPos terminals
EU
What happened
Viva.com distributes Ciontek's CS-series Android smart POS (notably the CS50C, sold as 'VivaPos', and the CS30) across its European footprint, with device-specific SDKs, activation guides and support docs — an integrated software/firmware relationship rather than simple resale. Ciontek (founded 2009, Shenzhen) builds the CS30/CS50/CS50C/CS50S smart POS and CM30 unattended terminal, certified to PCI PTS 6.X/7.X and EMV L1&L2 with Google Mobile Services.
Why it matters
Ciontek joins PAX, SUNMI and Newland as Chinese Android OEMs entering Europe, adding low-cost SmartPOS supply pressure on incumbents Ingenico and Verifone. Resolving Viva.com's newer devices to Ciontek is necessary to see this channel in share-of-wallet analysis.
What to watch
Whether Ciontek wins distribution beyond Viva.com, any European certifications (girocard, EMV CL), and pricing pressure on entry-level Android terminals.
