What it does
The Norwegian mobile operators' shared mobile-payment scheme: the consumer pays for goods and services through their mobile subscription, or optionally with a stored card, and Strex settles with the merchant. Its own site states "Strex er en betalingsløsning eid av Telenor, Telia og Ice." (https://www.strex.no/om-strex/). It has held a Norwegian e-money institution licence since 2006. Founding year left null: the legal entity was incorporated 1993-06-17 per Brønnøysund (org 985867569) but the Strex service is much younger and no source dated it.
