Scalapay

What it does

Splits a purchase into three interest-free monthly instalments, the first charged at checkout, and pays the merchant the full order value up front by daily bank transfer, less any refunds in the same period, so the merchant carries neither the wait nor the credit risk. It works online through the usual shop plugins and in store through a barcode in the app, with the instalments charged to the shopper's Visa, Mastercard or American Express card.
