What it does

Turkish payment institution founded in 2013 to offer virtual POS, supervised by the Central Bank of Türkiye and bought by PayU in 2019. It sells virtual, physical and mobile POS, subscription billing and collection services to merchants, and states more than 110,000 merchants and over a million transactions a day.

  • May 2024·acquired Paynet Ödeme Hizmetleri A.Ş. (Paynet) — iyzico signed on 7 May 2024 to buy Paynet from Arena Bilgisayar for US$87 million and completed in February 2025 after approval by the central bank and the Competition Authority. Prosus reports that Paynet has since merged with iyzico.
  • Jun 2019·acquired by PayU — PayU, the payments arm of Naspers, acquired the Turkish online PSP iyzico for $165M.
