What it does
This record is the Greek licence entity, not the group: Euronet Merchant Services Payment Institution Single Member S.A., a wholly owned subsidiary of Euronet Worldwide, Inc. (NASDAQ: EEFT, Leawood, Kansas), listed as incorporated in Greece in Euronet's own Exhibit 21.1 to its 10-K for the year ended 31 December 2025. It is authorised in its own right by the Bank of Greece as a payment institution (EBA EUCLID register, EntityCode GR_BOG!801567852, national reference 801567852, authorised 18 February 2022) with services PS_05A and PS_05B in Greece, that is "5. Issuing of payment instruments" and "5. Acquiring of payment transactions", and its registered seat is 1 Sachtouri & Poseidonos Str., 17674 Athens. It sells card acceptance to Greek merchants under the Euronet Merchant Services / epay brand, alongside DCC and tax-free shopping services, with hotel, food-and-beverage, fashion and consumer-electronics retail named as its portfolio on the group's merchant-services site. HQ is filed as Athens rather than the United States because the entity that holds the Greek acquiring licence and contracts with Greek merchants is the Greek company; the US parent Euronet Worldwide, Inc. would be a separate record and is not in the graph. Note that the group runs a second, distinct Greek subsidiary, Euronet Card Services S.A., which appears in the same Exhibit 21.1 and which Hellenic Competition Commission decision 774/2022 places in the separate POS terminal provision and management market; only the payment institution above carries the acquiring permission.
