Runs card issuing, merchant acquiring and its own card network inside one company, holding direct relationships with Card Members as issuer and with merchants as acquirer, which its Form 10-K sets against the bankcard networks. Its largest revenue source is discount revenue, the share of the merchant payable it retains on each transaction.
