Founder-CEO Philip Fayer, Novacap and CDPQ rolled equity; post-close Advent ~46%, Fayer ~24%, Novacap ~18%, CDPQ ~12%. Completed 15 Nov 2024; delisted from TSX (18 Nov) and Nasdaq (25 Nov)
- Nov 2023·acquired myPOS — Advent formed AI Circle Bidco Ltd to buy 100% of myPOS World Ltd, a Bulgarian provider serving around 170,000 merchants in continental Europe; no party disclosed the consideration
- Jan 2017·acquired Concardis — Advent and Bain bought Concardis from the German private, co-operative and savings-bank associations and DZ Bank. Financial terms were not disclosed. Concardis merged into Nets a year later.
- Jun 2015·acquired Nexi — The consortium bought control of ICBPI, the Italian bank-owned payments group behind the CartaSì card business, for €2.15B; the selling shareholder banks kept 8%. ICBPI was renamed Nexi in 2017.
