What it does
Galician bank, Banco de España register code 2080, and per CNMC C/1470/24 footnote 505 the fifth-largest acquirer at Spanish physical POS when the market is measured by number of transactions ([0-5]%). Acquiring runs on the banking licence; the group's separate credit entity Abanca Servicios Financieros E.F.C., S.A. (code 8620) appears in the payment-services register with the issuing half of article 5 only. CNMC also records Abanca among the acquiring-side respondents to its market test on the BBVA/Sabadell acquiring commitment.
