• Nov 2021·übernahm Datatrans — Planet, owned by Advent International and Eurazeo, announced in November 2021 that it had acquired Datatrans, a leader in advanced payment solutions in the Swiss market. Financial terms were not disclosed.
• May 2021·übernommen von Advent International — Eurazeo announced on 30 May 2021 an agreement to sell its stake in Planet to Advent International at a €1.8bn valuation while reinvesting to co-control the company, and the investment was completed on 21 Oct 2021. Planet offers acquiring, processing, digital wallets, VAT refund and currency conversion to retail, hospitality, food and beverage and parking merchants.
• Jun 2020·übernahm 3C Payment — Planet announced on 19 Jun 2020 that it had acquired 3C Payment, present in 47 countries with 11,000 customers and €22bn of annual processed value from over 300 million transactions. Terms were not disclosed, and the combined group expected to manage over €45bn of transaction value a year.
• 2016·übernommen von IT Card Centrum Technologii Płatniczych (now ITCARD) — IT Card, the Polish payment processor behind the Planet Cash ATM network, bought Smoopay Technologies, which held a national payment institution licence from the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, and renamed it Planet Pay. The company register records IT Card as sole shareholder from 21 December 2016, in place of Smoopay sp. z o.o. and the Nowe Media foundation.
