On 23 February 2026, SUNMI partnered with OPP (Worldline Group) for embedded payments targeting European SaaS platforms. Earlier: V3 Family launched at EuroCIS 2025 (eSIM, SoftPOS, biometrics). 100th Sunmi Home opened in NYC (Jan 2026). PCI SSC PPO status (Nov 2025). Wink/Qualcomm biometric partnership (Mar 2026).
Why it matters
A tracked Ingenico customer (Worldline) is actively deploying a competitor's hardware through its own ecosystem. V3 with eSIM and SoftPOS directly competes. PCI SSC PPO status alongside Amazon, Apple, Qualcomm signals growing enterprise legitimacy. Dual-system capability (Android + Windows) attractive for estate consolidation.
