Samsung extends Checkout.com to its EU and North American stores and puts Samsung Pay on Flow

EU

What happened

Samsung Electronics and Checkout.com announced a global partnership on 19 October 2026 that widens an existing relationship. Checkout.com already processes payments for Samsung Gulf Electronics across Samsung.com in the MENA region, and the deal extends that to more of Samsung's digital commerce estate, including the Galaxy Store and Samsung.com in the EU and North America, combining global and local acquiring with more flexible routing and Checkout.com's Intelligent Acceptance optimisation engine.

Separately, Samsung Pay goes live on Checkout.com's Flow low-code integration on 31 October 2026, letting existing Checkout.com merchants add it as a wallet option in online and in-app checkout.

Why it matters

Two things happen at once here. Samsung's European online stores are a large, recognisable estate changing hands on the processing side, which is the kind of win that moves an acquirer's enterprise credibility. And the Flow launch makes Samsung Pay a one-switch wallet for Checkout.com's stated 1,700-plus enterprise merchants, widening European acceptance for a wallet that has lagged Apple Pay and Google Pay at the online checkout.

What to watch

Whether Samsung Pay acceptance through Flow produces measurable European volume after 31 October, and which further Samsung markets move to Checkout.com.
