Solaris Goes Live on ACI Worldwide's ACI Connetic for SEPA Instant Payments
GermanyEU
What happened
ACI Worldwide said the German embedded-finance platform Solaris has gone live on ACI Connetic, ACI's cloud-native payments orchestration platform, for SEPA Instant Credit Transfer. It is the first phase of Solaris' payments modernisation, consolidating instant-payment processing, fraud prevention and orchestration in one architecture with fraud checks inside the settlement window.
Why it matters
The Instant Payments Regulation turned SEPA Instant from a premium option into a reachability duty, and the bill for that lands on whoever runs the rails. Solaris sits behind dozens of consumer brands' accounts and cards, so its choice of platform sets the instant-payment cost base for a slice of German embedded finance.
Each such migration is also volume permanently committed to ACI rather than to an in-house stack or a domestic processor.
What to watch
The later phases of the Solaris migration, whether other German embedded-finance and BaaS platforms follow to ACI Connetic, and whether instant-payment unit costs fall visibly for them.
