- May 2018·acquired by PayPal Holdings — PayPal bought all outstanding shares in iZettle AB for ~$2.2B, adding in-store card acceptance in eleven markets; the UK business was held separate until the CMA cleared the deal in 2019
- Sep 2016·acquired Intelligent Point of Sale Limited — iZettle acquired Intelligent Point of Sale Limited, a UK provider of cloud-based inventory, loyalty and customer flow software, in September 2016. The UK competition authority records that the deal gave iZettle a point-of-sale app for bars, cafes and restaurants, marketed as iZettle Pro.
