What it does
K&H Bank earns the way a universal bank does, from the spread on its balance sheet plus fees, and its card business sits inside the fee line. Its 2025 Consolidated Annual Report says K&H Bank Zrt. and its subsidiaries provide a full range of banking services through a nation-wide network of 190 branches, and reports net interest income of HUF 228.0 billion for 2025, up 5 percent on 2024 and driven by increasing loan and deposit volumes. Net fee and commission income was HUF 121.6 billion, up 15 percent, and the breakdown in Note 6 is led by payment services at HUF 107.2 billion of fee income and card services at HUF 20.7 billion, ahead of investment services at HUF 15.0 billion and credit and guarantee fees at HUF 9.2 billion. Those same two lines carry the largest fee expenses, HUF 12.4 billion for card services and HUF 9.9 billion for payment transactions, so the card and payments business is reported gross on both sides. The bank's parent is KBC Bank N.V. and its ultimate parent KBC Group N.V.
