What it does

Greece's national automated clearing house, owned by the Bank of Greece together with credit institutions and payment companies. It clears and settles domestic and cross-border interbank payments through the DIAS Payment System (credit transfers, direct debits, card payments, cheques, ATM transactions), is overseen directly by the Bank of Greece, and operates the IRIS Online Payments and IRIS e-commerce account-to-account rails that Greek banks and merchants use. It sells clearing and scheme infrastructure to payment service providers and to the Greek public sector, not merchant acquiring. Registered address per https://www.dias.com.gr/en/contact/ : '2 Alamanas Str., 151 25 Maroussi, Attica Greece'.
